Honoring our past, inspiring our future
Ashtabula County is proud to participate in America 250 Ohio, the statewide initiative commemorating the 250th anniversary of the United States in 2026. As an officially designated America 250 Ohio community, we are joining efforts with all 88 Ohio counties to
celebrate our nation's Semiquincentennial in a manner that reflect our local heritage and contributions to American history. We aim to highlight the diverse stories and achievements of Ohioans over the past 250 years.
Our Mission
We want to create a celebration of 250 years of history in Ashtabula County. We envision a festival that draws residents in to celebrate the 4th of July holiday together in the heart of the County.
