Celebrate America's 250th right here in Ashtabula County! On Saturday, July 4, 2026, Gidding's Park in the Village of Jefferson will come alive with an all-day festival honoring 250 years of history, freedom, and community. The day begins with the Grand Parade of History and a stirring fly-over, then unfolds into a county-wide celebration filled with family games and crafts, artisan vendors, live music, theatrical performances, and historical reenactments. Guests can stroll through the Artisan Market, relive the past along the Walk of Time, and enjoy food trucks and entertainment at the Liberty Picnic Grounds. Families will find endless fun in the Family Americana Arcade, while everyone can take part in a meaningful Time Capsule Ceremony to preserve our legacy for future generations. As evening falls, the sky over Jefferson will light up with a spectacular fireworks finale a true old-fashioned Fourth of July celebration for the entire county.
